Pay-Per-Click Advertising Management — Strategy, Execution, and Real Results
Paid ad campaigns built to make sense for your budget and your goals, across the platforms where your customers are already spending their time.
Here's a number worth knowing:
Businesses earn an average of $2 for every $1 spent on Google Ads, but only when the campaigns are set up and managed correctly.
Most small businesses either never run paid ads or run them and wonder why nothing's working. The difference almost always comes down to strategy and execution.
That's exactly where Marie Battle Marketing comes in.
So What Is PPC Advertising, Anyway?
PPC stands for Pay-Per-Click. It's a type of online advertising where you only pay when someone actually clicks on your ad. No clicks, no charge.
You tell the platform, Google, Bing, Facebook, or LinkedIn who you want to reach, set a budget, and your ads show up in front of the right people at the right time.
When someone clicks and lands on your website, that's your opportunity to turn them into a customer.
Unlike SEO, which takes months to build momentum, paid ads can put you in front of potential customers the same day a campaign goes live.
For small businesses, PPC is one of the fastest ways to:
Get in front of people who are actively searching for what you sell
Drive traffic to a specific offer, service, or product
Test what messaging actually resonates before going all in
Stay visible while your organic presence continues to grow
What's Included When You Work With MBM
This isn't a set-it-and-forget-it situation. Here's what active PPC management actually looks like:
Campaign Build & Setup
Before a single ad dollar is spent, I build your campaign the right way — from keyword research and audience targeting to ad copywriting, campaign structure, and conversion tracking setup. The foundation matters. A poorly built campaign burns through the budget fast.
Conversion Tracking
Clicks are nice. Customers are better. I make sure we know which ads are actually driving inquiries, calls, form fills, or purchases — not just traffic.
Ongoing Optimization
What's performing today won't always perform tomorrow — and that's normal. I stay on top of your campaigns so you're not the one who has to notice when something shifts. That means pausing underperformers, adjusting bids, refining audiences, and testing new ad copy so your budget is always working as hard as possible.
Monthly Reporting
Every month, you receive a clear breakdown of your campaign results — including spend, clicks, leads, cost per lead, and upcoming adjustments. If you need clarification, I provide it. You'll always know where your money was allocated.
Platform Management
I currently manage paid campaigns across:
Google Search & Display Ads
Microsoft (Bing) Ads
LinkedIn Ads
Why Trust Me With Your Ad Spend?
I didn't learn Pay-Per-Click from a YouTube course or a certification exam.
My start began with managing, building, and optimizing real paid ad campaigns at the corporate level, specifically while working with Google on their small business development initiatives.
My experience came directly from the main source of PPC by being in the weeds of running campaigns from start to finish for actual small business clients.
The main takeaway I gained was how to stretch a modest budget into real results, and that experience is what I bring to every MBM client.
Corporate-level strategy from a seasoned digital marketing professional who understands every dollar counts for the small business owner.

Creative Services Add-On:
If you want to run ads on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google Display, or Google Performance Max (PMAX), those platforms require visual assets — and that's a separate service from campaign management.
If you need creatives built, here's how that's priced:
One-Time Creative Setup Fee: $150 — covers the initial batch of ad creatives built at campaign launch.
What's the Paid Ad Investment?
A. Up to 3 static ads, 1 size each | $200/mo
B. Up to 5 static ads, 2 sizes each | $375/mo
C. Up to 8 assets, mix of static + animated | 600/mo
Google Search and Microsoft (Bing) Search campaigns are text-based and do not require a creative add-on.

Your management fee and your ad spend are two separate things. Here's a realistic starting point for small businesses:
Google/Bing Search: $500–$1,500/mo to start seeing meaningful data
Facebook/Instagram: $300–$1,000/mo depending on audience size and goals
LinkedIn: $1,000–$2,500/mo minimum — the platform has higher costs per click, but the B2B targeting is unmatched
What Kind of Ad Budget Do You Actually Need?
How Payments Work
Your Ad Spend
You fund your ad account directly with Google, Meta, LinkedIn, or whichever platform we're running on.
That money goes straight to the platform; it never passes through MBM. This keeps things clean, transparent, and fully in your control.
Your Management Fee
MBM invoices your monthly management fee on the 1st of each month. Payment is due upon receipt and can be made via:
PayPal
Debit or Credit Card
Venmo
Google Pay
Simple, straightforward, no surprises.
Transparency: What to Expect With Your Paid Ad Campaigns
Here's an honest look at how PPC performance typically unfolds:
Paid ads aren't magic, and anyone promising instant results on day one is selling you a dream.
Here's an honest look at how PPC performance typically unfolds:
Month 1 — The Learning Phase
This is setup and data collection. Your campaigns launch, but the platforms are still figuring out who responds best to your ads. This phase is normal and necessary. We're building the foundation here, not expecting a flood of leads on day one.
Month 2 — Optimization Kicks In
Now we have real data to work with. I start making meaningful adjustments — cutting what's not performing, doubling down on what is. You should start seeing more consistent activity and lead flow.
Month 3 and Beyond — Momentum
This is where PPC starts delivering consistently. By month three, we know your audience, we know your best-performing ads, and your cost per lead typically starts to come down.
The longer a well-managed campaign runs, the more efficient it gets.
One more honest note: your results will depend on your budget, your industry, your offer, and your website.
I'll always be upfront with you about what's realistic — and if something isn't working, we'll talk about it before it becomes a costly problem.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a big budget to run paid ads?
Not necessarily, but your budget does affect your results. A $300/month Google Ads budget in a competitive market will give you limited reach and limited data.
I'll be upfront with you about whether your budget is realistic for your goals — and if it's not the right time, I'll tell you that too.
What's the difference between my ad spend and your management fee?
Your ad spend goes directly to Google, Meta, or whichever platform we're using — that money never comes to MBM.
My management fee is separate and covers the work of building, monitoring, and optimizing your campaigns every month.
How soon will I see results?
Most clients start seeing early data and some lead activity within the first 30 days, but months two and three are typically when things start clicking. PPC rewards consistency and patience.
Do you require long-term contracts?
I work on monthly agreements. I'm not interested in locking you into something that isn't working — that doesn't benefit either of us. My goal is to deliver results that make you want to stay.
Can you run ads on multiple platforms at the same time?
Yes, and sometimes that's the right move. But I'd rather start you on one or two platforms, do them well, and expand from there.
Spreading a small budget across too many platforms at once rarely works in your favor.
What do I need to have ready before we start?
At minimum: a live, functional website, a clear idea of the service or product you want to promote, and a general sense of who your ideal customer is.
The more clarity you bring to the table, the better your campaigns will perform from day one.
Will I have to deal with any of the technical setup myself?
No. I handle account setup, tracking configuration, and everything in between. You'll always know what's happening — but you won't need to become a Paid Ad expert to work with me.
What if my ads aren't performing?
We talk about it. My monthly reports break down exactly what's happening with your campaigns, and I flag concerns before they become expensive.
If something isn't working, we adjust — that's what active management means.
How do you track leads from paid ad campaigns?
Each platform has its own specific conversion tracking code, which is then placed within your website coding on the backend (the users do not see this coding).
I'll need temporary access to your website (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, etc.) to install the tracking code that connects your ads to real actions — form fills, calls, purchases.
You grant access, I get it set up, and once it's done, you can remove my access completely. Your credentials are never stored.
And if you have a website admin, I can send them the coding and instructions needed to correctly implement the conversion tracking on your website.
